Los primeros tienen un uso y espacios de instalaci\u00f3n limitados. Los segundos recolectan y usan la energ\u00eda de la luz mediante cualquier superficie de vidrio,<strong> transformando, por ejemplo, cualquier ventana en una celda fotovoltaica.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph \">Investigadores de la Universidad Estatal de Michigan (MSU) crearon en 2014 un <strong>concentrador solar transparente que convierte cualquier ventana en una celda fotovoltaica<\/strong>. El sistema, conocido como <em>Transparent Luminescent Solar Concentrator<\/em> (Concentrador Solar Luminiscente Transparente), absorbe ondas de luz infrarroja y ultravioleta para transformarlas en energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph \">Estas estructuras llamadas tambi\u00e9n <strong>vidrios fotovoltaicos<\/strong>, podr\u00edan instalarse en cualquier \u00e1rea de la ciudad, ya sea en edificios y grandes empresas, consiguiendo una generaci\u00f3n limpia y consciente de energ\u00eda. Los sistemas transparentes podr\u00edan reducir las cargas de las grandes redes el\u00e9ctricas urbanas y aligerar el consumo, produciendo energ\u00eda desde las ventanas de cada edificio.<\/p>\n<h1>La tecnolog\u00eda UE Power<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-728 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dynamicenergy.com.ar\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/UE-Power-1024x307.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph \">Los sistemas fotovoltaicos tradicionales absorben los rayos del sol y los convierten en electricidad. Se utilizan solo en tejados o grandes granjas solares, lo cual limita su capacidad de acci\u00f3n. Ante este problema, la empresa estadounidense <a href=\"https:\/\/ubiquitous.energy\/\"><strong>Ubiquitous Energy<\/strong><\/a> busca ampliar su uso a otros espacios, para que sean tambi\u00e9n los edificios los que puedan instalarlos en sus superficies, que ocupan gran parte del trazado urbano en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph \">Estas celdas cristalinas trasmiten la luz visible mientras que absorben y convierten en energ\u00eda solo una parte del espectro de la luz solar, los rayos ultravioletas e infrarrojos. As\u00ed, pueden ser <strong>transparentes<\/strong> (sin perder la est\u00e9tica del lugar y la vista) <strong>y funcionales<\/strong> (producen energ\u00eda volvi\u00e9ndose una tecnolog\u00eda casi indistinguible de una ventana tradicional).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph \">La <strong>tecnolog\u00eda UE Power<\/strong> se compone de una ventana con dos cristales sellados entre s\u00ed y cables que pueden conectarse directamente a una bater\u00eda o a la red el\u00e9ctrica, si est\u00e1n en cercan\u00eda. Su capacidad depende de la luz solar que reciba el edificio, el tama\u00f1o y las necesidades energ\u00e9ticas del mismo, pero <strong>podr\u00edan compensar entre el 10% y el 30% de sus requerimientos energ\u00e9ticos<\/strong>. Cabe destacar que este n\u00famero mejora cuanto m\u00e1s eficiente sea el lugar en materia de energ\u00eda.
